Casing Design and Cementing Principles
Discipline
Drilling and Workover
Course Duration
5 days
Delivery Method
In-house
The course focuses on casing design and cementing practices, the two fundamental topics in drilling operations. Upon the completion of this course, the participants will be able to design and select casing grades based on triaxial loading calculations and other metallurgical considerations. They will also be able to design the cement slurry requirements, thickening time and pumping procedure.
