This course is intended to provide non-petroleum engineers and technical professionals an overview of the fundamental techniques used in petroleum exploration and production. This overview includes specific selective topics in Petroleum Geology, Drilling Engineering, Well Completion, Production Engineering, Reservoir Engineering and Petroleum Economics. Upon completing this course, the participant will grasp an overall applied knowledge about oil and gas upstream sector.

  • Well logs, their interpretation and use in subsurface maps
